The aim of the REACTION project is to develop an integrated ICT platform that supports the management of diabetes in hospital as well as at home.
REACTION has two application domains; primary care and in-hospital care. In hospital, glycaemic control of acutely ill patients is important for patient health but not always available. The aim of REACTION is to establish optimal control of blood sugar levels for patients with diabetes and thereby increase patient safety.
The video shows the results made in the in-hospital domain, where REACTION supports optimal glucose management, patient safety as well as efficient workflow management and decision support for the hospital staff.
